Outstation Road Trip Checklist: Ahmedabad to Rajkot, Vadodara & Beyond
Outstation trips are a different experience from a city ride — longer time in the vehicle, more luggage, and highway driving conditions. A short checklist helps make sure the trip goes smoothly from the first kilometre.
Pick the Right Vehicle for Your Group
A sedan like the Dzire or Amaze suits one or two passengers with light luggage; an Ertiga or Innova works better for a family with more bags; larger groups heading to a wedding or pilgrimage trip are usually better served by our Force Urbania or Tempo Traveller.
One-Way or Round Trip?
If you're returning within a few days, a round-trip booking is usually more economical than booking two separate one-way trips, since the vehicle and driver don't need to be re-arranged from scratch for the return leg.
Common Routes We Run
Regular outstation routes from Ahmedabad and Sanand include Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Bhavnagar, and pilgrimage routes to Somnath and Dwarka, as well as the hill routes to Mount Abu and Udaipur across the Rajasthan border.
Plan for Stops
Longer routes benefit from one or two planned stops rather than pushing straight through — let your driver know upfront if you'd like to build in a meal or rest break.
Confirm the Fare Before You Leave
Outstation fares depend on distance, vehicle, tolls and trip type. We confirm this with you before the trip starts rather than adjusting it afterward. Request a quote for your specific route.
